Creatures

There are several magical and mundane creatures on Middengard. Here is the list:

Cuhnon—Great wolf; these bond with girls; those bonded with them have great links to the beasts of their land through their links with the wolves.
Draca—Dragon; these a dull yellow when born. When they bond with their boy, they transform to the colors red, green, blue, and brown. The color can darken to black as the dragon draws away any darkness from the boy. All true dragons are females and die when their rider dies.
Fugulon—Great bird; these bond with girls; the brown of the species look similar to hawks and tend to be known as messengers. The green can sense herbs near water and be helpful to healers.
Mearhon—Great Horse. These are the species of horses used by the Fremde.
NyptcuhnWerewolf
RhaconGreat Snake; these bond with boys. When they bond, they wrap the boy in their coils, biting them a little at a time to help the boy create antibodies to their venom. Once bonded, the boy is immune to all poisons. The snakes themselves have diamond shaped heads and come patterned in red, blue, green, and brown. Until they become too large, they can act as the boy's staff, as the magic of the snake combines with that of the boy.
